When Joanna got in touch after discovering me on TikTok, she had a very special request. She wanted a memory bear created from her late dad’s shirt and cardigan, something she could keep close and feel connected to him through.
Joanna had sadly lost her dad, and the clothing she sent held so many memories of him. From the very beginning, this felt like a deeply meaningful keepsake to create.

She also shared a photo of her dad wearing the shirt and cardigan, which made the connection even more personal. Seeing him in those exact clothes added so much meaning while I was working on the bears.
As I carefully created the first bear, I worked with each piece of clothing to preserve its character and memory. A very special touch was adding a sample of her dad’s handwriting, which made the keepsake feel even more personal and irreplaceable.
The finished bear became something Joanna could hold onto—a physical reminder of her dad and the love attached to those familiar fabrics.
Later in the year, Joanna got back in touch with another heartbreaking request. She had sadly lost her mum as well, and asked me to create a second bear to sit alongside the first.

This time, the bear was made from her mum’s skirt and jumper. Creating it carried the same sense of care and emotion, knowing it would become part of the same story.
Now, both bears sit together—just like her parents once did. Two keepsakes, side by side, holding the memories and presence of the people who meant the most.
For me, this is why I do what I do. Turning something once worn into something that can be held, hugged, and treasured forever.

Every keepsake tells a story, and it’s always an honour to help preserve them.
